Mariner™ Hydrophilic-coated Angiographic Catheter
Mariner hydrophilic-coated angiographic catheters with Duration™ coating technology are redefining hydrophilic performance. The low-friction coefficient assures smoother navigation as the innovative coating technology reduces catheter surface friction by as much as 90 percent and the coating reduces overall procedure time by promoting smoother navigation through tortuous vasculature.
Additionally, covalent bonding creates a more durable coating. Highly crosslinked polymer chains optimize coating durability by enhancing stability of the compound, and the coating is resistant to scratching or abrasion, ensuring reliably smooth navigation throughout the procedure.
Mariner catheters are procedure-efficient, meaning no initial pre-wetting is required as the distal end of catheter (approx. 20 cm length) is hydrophilic-coated, allowing for smooth navigation as well as optimum handling and control.

New longer length angiographic catheters are ideal for those instances where the operator needs the ability to access the more distal regions of the vascular anatomy. Most standard angiographic catheters are limited to 110 cm, however; AngioDynamics now offers a comprehensive addition of Hydrophilic-coated Mariner angiographic catheters up to 150 cm.
