HS AMICA is a thermal ablation platform designed for interventional oncology procedures, supporting both microwave and radiofrequency technologies through a single integrated system. GEN Microwave and RF Generator
The AMICA GEN is a programmable microwave and/or radiofrequency generator designed for thermal ablation treatments. It features an intuitive touchscreen interface, footswitch-controlled energy activation, built-in peristaltic pump with automatic control, and automatic applicator recognition for simplified workflow.
The system continuously monitors critical treatment parameters including time, delivered power, temperature, reflected power during microwave procedures, impedance during radiofrequency procedures, and total energy delivered to the patient. It supports both microwave and radiofrequency energy delivery modes, allowing physicians to adapt treatment according to clinical requirements.
The platform also supports sequential or simultaneous multi-probe operation through the AMICA Switchbox accessory, making it suitable for a wide range of interventional oncology applications.
AMICA Probe RF
AMICA Probe RF is a disposable radiofrequency electrode developed for thermoablation procedures. The probe features a medical-grade stainless-steel cannula with an exposed treatment tip, depth markings, and a pyramidal tip designed to facilitate percutaneous access.
The device incorporates a built-in thermocouple for temperature monitoring and an embedded memory chip for probe identification, safety verification, and automatic parameter recognition. It is available in multiple configurations including uncooled models, external perfusion models, and multi-electrode variants for advanced treatment applications.
Excellent visibility under ultrasound and CT guidance allows accurate placement, while various energy delivery modes enable physicians to tailor coagulation performance according to procedural requirements.
AMICA Probe
AMICA Probe is a disposable applicator designed for microwave thermoablation procedures. It utilizes a medical-grade stainless-steel cannula with anti-sticking coating, sliding depth stop, and a pyramidal metallic tip to facilitate accurate tissue access.
A patented mini-choke technology helps trap reflected microwaves and minimize back-heating effects, providing enhanced treatment safety, repeatability, and control over the ablation zone. The probe includes a built-in thermocouple for cooling control and an embedded memory chip for automatic recognition and parameter configuration.
The applicator offers excellent visibility under CT and ultrasound guidance and can achieve large ablation zones while maintaining precise control of treatment shape and size.
